  • More Options

Poulsbo is close to our wedding venue (and of course our welcome party). This area will have more options than Kingston, we highly recommend searching around in that area if none of the above work.

Traveling To & In

  • SeaTac International Airport

If flying, we recommend arriving into Seattle/Tacoma and renting a car (it’s about a 1.5 hour drive). You can drive + catch the ferry instead of ‘just’ driving - it doesn’t save any time but it’s more for the experience! For those not able to rent a car, you can also look into catching the train directly from the airport - you should be able to get yourself to the ferry dock and walk onto the passenger walk on only fast ferry from there.

  • Walk On Only Fast Ferry

For those who want to walk on (no cars) there is a passenger only ferry that runs. Please be aware of the schedule it’s running on.

We recommend this for people who might be without a car, are meeting others in Kingston.

Please keep in mind ferries don’t run past 10:25PM on Saturdays from Kingston.

  • Edmonds to Kingston Ferry

For those driving and catching a ferry for the first time… Please remember there is typically a wait, boats run on a schedule, cars + passengers have fees, and they don’t run for 24 hours.

This boat in particular does not take you to Seattle. It takes you to Edmonds from Kingston and vice versa.

  • Seattle to Bainbridge Ferry

For those who may be coming from the Seattle area or prefer this ferry schedule. The Bainbridge ferry terminal is around 26 minutes from the general Kingston area.

  • A General Note for the Ferries

For those who may be unfamiliar. During the summer months like August, Kingston / Seattle / Bainbridge become popular destinations. Ferry boats have limited space per run, run on a schedule, and can have lines build up incredibly fast - leading to long wait times.

Please give yourself room / time that takes in all the varaiables due to the popular time of year. Do not wait last minute to catch a boat!
